		<description>Websites should only contain necessary functions. I agree that site owners can do away with too much visual effects if the site does not really need them. I  like the tips that you mentioned in your post. Essentially, the idea is to simplify the web pages for the convenience of the site visitor.

A web development company simplified our site last year. Dead links were removed and icons replaced the chunks of information at the homepage. This increased the number of visitors to our site. Since I like the tips that you mention, we will surely be using them to further improve our site. Thanks!</description>
